The premise was simple.
Wine. Beaches. Bikes.
Corsica ticks all the boxes. With little information about trails, DW Media House visited the French island of Corsica in 2018 for Mountain Flyer Magazine and found out that the fat tire scene on this little isle is alive and well.
Where does this appear?
British Columbia is on every skier’s bucket list and every nook and cranny of it seems to have a ski operation of some sort - lift-served, hut-access, cat or heli-skiing.
But the range is vast and some areas have yet to be fully explored.
In the Slocan Valley, there are still peaks and valleys that have seen little traffic, even though they are near major operations.
DW Media House visited the Slocan for Backcountry Magazine and found amazing tales of resilience, both past and present.
DW Media House, in association with the talented Adam Mikaelian of Send It Studios, created a short video showcasing the local cuisine and ski culture of Quebec’s Gaspe Peninsula.
